The Pulsar Thermion2 XP60 LRF Pro is the 60mm version of the XP line, which started 10 years ago with the Trail,XP line, then Thermion and Thermion2 lines. Equipped with a 60mm germanium lens and Pulsar's 640-pixel, 25mk Pro sensor, delivering exceptional image clarity. This advanced imaging is perfect for users who need extended range capabilities. The Thermion 2 LRF XP60 Pro represents the pinnacle of Pulsar’s XP series, featuring Picture-in-Picture for enhanced precision, multiple colour palettes for various conditions, WiFi connectivity for sharing via phone or tablet, image and video recording, ten customisable reticles, and renowned Pulsar quality and support.
The accurate laser rangefinder is seamlessly integrated into the sleek scope design. Compact and efficient, the rangefinder fits within the optical channel’s clearance limits. It measures up to 800 metres, providing user's with accurate distance assessment, crucial for precise targeting. It also allows for an automatic ballistic calculator. The Thermion2 XP60 LRF continues Pulsar's tradition of thermal excellence over the last 15 years, building on previous models like the Apex, Trail, Trail2, Thermion, and now the Thermion2, all of which have been proudly sold and supported by Wolf Eyes.
Thermal Imaging Features
High Definition Thermal Sensor
The Thermion 2 XP60 Pro LRF offers sharp, high-contrast thermal imaging, enabling clear ID of animals and their backgrounds, down to the smallest details like branches, leaves, and terrain.
Unprecedented Thermal Sensor Sensitivity
With a thermal imaging sensor boasting NETD <25mK, the Thermion2 XP60 LRF ensures superior detail recognition, even under difficult weather conditions. It detects the slightest temperature variations during rain, fog, or cold mornings, when thermal contrast is minimal.
Ballistic Calculations via Stream Vision Ballistics
The Thermion 2 XP60 Pro LRF features ballistic calculations through the Stream Vision Ballistics mobile app, always being enhanced by the latest firmware updates.
Fast Aperture Lens F60/1.1
The thermal imager's efficiency is maximised by its fast F60/1.1 lens, paired with a highly sensitive thermal sensor, providing high-quality, detailed, and high-contrast images, even in adverse weather conditions. It is worth noting that a 60mm lens provides 1.44 times the area of a 50mm lens
User Mode
Adjust your brightness and contrast for optimal image quality in any local conditions. The User Mode function saves these settings for immediate use in future hunting sessions.
Long Detection Range Up to 2000m
The large and highly transmissive F60/1.1 lens and sensitive sensor enable detection of objects up to 2000 metres away, even in complete darkness.
Extended Battery Life
The device is powered by two rechargeable batteries (one built-in 4.9 Ah and one replaceable 2 Ah), providing up to 10 hours of use on a single charge. The replaceable battery can be quickly and confidently swapped in complete darkness by touch.
High Precision Ambidextrous Focusing
The internal focusing mechanism ensures clear images at any range, with ergonomic focusing wheels accessible from both sides, accommodating both left and right-handed users - great to see lefties being thought of!
Variable Magnification
The base magnification can increase by up to 8x, with zoom adjustments in 2x steps or continuously, allowing users to find the perfect magnification for their needs.
High Precision Aiming with Picture-in-Picture Mode
This feature displays a high precision zeroing frame that takes up only 10% of the display, showing a magnified image of the target and reticle while still maintaining a view of the entire field. This is considerably safer just a highly magnified image.
Multiple Zeroing Profiles and Reticle Options
The device can save up to 10 zeroing profiles, each with up to ten distances. It also offers 10 reticle configurations in 9 colours for various preferences and conditions.
Durability and Reliability
The device has a strong magnesium body good for both strength and heat sinking ability while all components are carefully mounted inside this durable magnesium outer shell.
Standard 30mm Ring Mounting
The device’s design resembles a traditional day sight, fitting standard 30mm rings, allowing for many and versatile mounting options.
Instant Start-Up
The scope is ready to use within 3 seconds of pressing the power button.
High Recoil Resistance
The Thermion 2 XP60 Pro LRF is highly impact-resistant, compatible with high recoil units, as well as smooth-bore and pneumatic units.
Waterproof IPX7 Rating
The scope is fully waterproof, functioning in high humidity and heavy rain, and can withstand 30 minutes of immersion in up to 1 metre of water.
Wide Operating Temperature Range
It operates effectively in temperatures from -25 to +50°C, with a frost-resistant Micro-OLED display that maintains sharp images even in motion.
Advanced Display and Recording Features
High Contrast HD Micro-OLED Display
The 2560 x 2560 HD Micro-OLED display offers enhanced colour rendering, energy efficiency, and quick response times, delivering clear, smooth images even on the move or in cold conditions.
8 Colour Palettes
Eight colour palette options optimise the field of view for specific tasks and changing observation conditions, with modes like White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Rainbow, and Ultramarine for various detection and identification needs.
Wide Angle Eyepiece
The 60 series Thermion 2 come with an upgraded wide angle eyepiece which is optimised for use with high resolution displays. This allows a clearer view , 8mm equivalent exit pupil and much easier observation.
Photo and Video Recording
Capture and share observation moments easily with one-touch photo and video recording. The 64 GB internal memory stores hours of video and thousands of photos.
Stream Vision 2 WiFi Integration
The built-in WiFi module connects to iOS and Android devices via the Stream Vision 2 app, allowing wireless software updates, real-time image transmission, and remote control of digital functions. The app also offers cloud storage for photos and videos taken with the device. There is also Stream Vision Ballistics available which works with Laser Range Finder Thermion 2 models.
