Top of the Pulsar line
The ultimate Pulsar scope has arrived, the Pulsar Thermion2 XL60 LRF. All the High Definition goodness you would expect from Pulsar, wrapped up in the trusted alloy Thermion2 body. A chance to really step up your image quality, literally over the double the pixels of the XP or XG series or any 640 sensor unit, in a standard sized scope. If you are the sort of person who wants to make positive identification - and contact - much further out, then this is the thermal scope for you. All the features you have loved in our other models are here, Laser Range Finder, Integrated Ballistic Calculator, Picture in Picture, multiple reticles, multiple palettes, wifi to your phone or tablet, recording of video or pictures and of course our great Pulsar backup. Of course the sensor is always only half the story, this scope utilises the best version of the Pulsar algorithms to interpret the data from the sensor and an updated computer to process all those pixels. If you are after the absolute best Pulsar scope this is it.
One big difference between our 60mm series scopes and any of the 50mm series scopes is a 60mm lens has over 1.44 times the area of a 50mm lens, if you are detecting items at a distance that is a lot more area to let the heat through to get to the sensor. The eye relief is greater than anything in it's class and the display is the best ever put in any Pulsar thermal, making for a much, much clearer image and more pleasant viewing experience. Of course the High Definition sensor really stands out when being used at a distance, when all those extra pixels are noticeable. At 10x power (four times the base magnification) the Thermion2 XL60 LRF still has over 1.77 times as many pixels available as any 384 sensor scope.
Innovative HD, clear thermal imaging
The Thermion 2 LRF XL60 offers top-tier thermal imaging capabilities. Its new 1024x768-pixel thermal sensor delivers high-definition images with rich details, making it perfect for precise trophy identification. Animal silhouettes, anatomy, and behaviours are clearly visible and easily distinguished.
Exceptionally good detail at high magnification
With variable magnification from 2.5x to 20x (8x digital zoom), this scope enhances focus and object recognition even at long distances. The HD sensor maintains high image quality throughout the zoom range, which can be adjusted in 2x increments or continuously for customised field of view (FOV) and magnification ratios.
Accurate laser rangefinding
Knowing the distance to what you are observing is crucial for making informed and responsible decisions. The body integrated laser rangefinder has a range of up to 800 metres, seamlessly fitting into the slim scope design with the receiver and emitter within a single optical channel.
Built-in ballistic calculator for long-range accuracy
The Thermion 2 XL60 LRF ensures precision at any distance. The laser rangefinder provides exact distances, while an internal ballistics algorithm calculator does all the drop calculations for you. Create multiple ballistic profiles with the Stream Vision Ballistics App, upload them to the Thermion, and transform your XL60 into an accurate long-range aiming tool.
Wide field of view for efficient scanning
The Thermion 2 LRF XL60 offers a wide field of view, even at high zoom levels, thanks to its large-format sensor that maintains a balanced FOV/magnification ratio.
Premium HD-class germanium optics
The germanium F60/1.1 objective lens enhances the HD thermal sensor's capabilities, providing a clear and detailed field of view. Aspherical lenses and diffractive optical elements ensure sharp image projection across the entire sensor area.
Ambidextrous lens focusing
The internal focusing mechanism provides a sharp image at any range, with ergonomic focusing wheels on both sides for easy adjustment by left- or right-handed users.
Advanced image processing
Pixel-to-pixel image transfer ensures sharp images. Adjustable sensor sensitivity amplification and new filtration algorithms offer excellent observation in varied weather and temperature conditions, helping define trophy features or small animals and rendering clear objects and backgrounds.
Wireless remote control included
The Pulsar BT wireless Bluetooth remote control duplicates the regular buttons and features excellent ergonomics. It allows for fine adjustment and menu navigation, designed for use with bare or gloved hands, enabling hunters to maintain focus while controlling the scope from any convenient position.
Mounting on standard 30 mm rings
The Thermion 2 LRF X650 fits standard 30mm rings, offering visual appeal on any unit. Its classic day sight design in a 30mm aluminium alloy housing allows flexible mounting options.
This thermal imaging scope is highly impact-resistant, suitable for large unit recoil and also smooth-bore and pneumatic units.
10 profiles / 100 zeroing distances
The Thermion 2 LRF XL60 can store up to 10 profiles, each with up to 10 zeroing distances, allowing for automatic ballistic calculations based on measured distances using the Stream Vision Ballistics App.
A selection of 10 reticle shapes in 9 colour modes
The Thermion 2 LRF XL60 offers ten reticle configurations in nine colours, displayed electronically in the same plane as the target for precise aiming.
High-precision aiming with "Picture-in-picture" mode
The "Picture-in-picture" function shows a magnified image of the target and reticle in a small frame, taking only 10% of the display area, enabling detailed observation while keeping the full field of view.
Customisable user mode for image adjustment
Adjust brightness and contrast to enhance image details for specific conditions. The User Mode function saves these settings for optimal image quality in future uses.
Dual battery system
Powered by two rechargeable batteries, one built-in and one replaceable, the Thermion 2 LRF XL60 offers up to 10 hours of continuous operation. The replaceable batteries are designed for quick and confident replacement in complete darkness.
64 GB memory for photo and video recording
Capture and share your experiences with 64 GB of internal memory for hours of video and thousands of photos, all with the touch of a button on your Thermion2 XL60 LRF.
Flexible colour palettes for various needs
The 2560x2560 HD Micro-OLED display offers extra definition, enhanced colour rendering, high contrast, and quick response for clear, smooth images in any condition. Eight colour palettes allow users to optimise the view for specific tasks and changing conditions.
Wi-Fi integration with iOS and Android devices
The built-in Wi-Fi module supports 2.4/5 GHz wavebands, connecting the scope to smartphones via the Stream Vision 2 app for wireless software updates, real-time image transmission, and remote control of digital functions.
Wide Angle Eyepiece
The 60 series Thermion 2 come with an upgraded wide angle eyepiece which is optimised for use with high resolution displays. This allows a clearer view , 8mm equivalent exit pupil and much easier observation.
Operation in extreme temperatures
The Thermion 2 LRF operates in temperatures from -25 to +50°C. The frost-resistant Micro-OLED display ensures a sharp image even in motion.
IPX7 submersion waterproof rated
With an IPX7 waterproof rating, the Thermion 2 LRF XL60 withstands high humidity, heavy rain, and immersion in water up to 1 metre for 30 minutes.
