Proven Pulsar Technology
The Pulsar Oryx LRF Monocular is engineered to perform in the toughest environments and on the longest hunts. Compact and optimised for one-handed operation, it delivers all the essential features you need in the field, including:
- Long-lasting battery life for extended outdoor use
- Extreme laser rangefinder (LRF) range for precise distance measurement
- Premium image clarity and digital stabilisation for steady, detailed visuals
Built for durability as much as performance, the Oryx LRF features a rugged magnesium alloy body that resists water, dust, impacts, and harsh weather. It’s as tough externally as it is advanced internally.
Powerful 1,500 m Laser Rangefinder
Equipped with an integrated high-precision laser rangefinder, the Oryx LRF delivers accurate distance readings up to 1,500 metres, even in complete darkness.
Two operating modes provide flexibility — scanning mode for continuous updates and single measurement mode for pinpoint accuracy. Measurements can be displayed in either metric or imperial units.
Dual Battery System – Up to 12 Hours of Operation
The Oryx LRF uses a dual power system that combines an internal battery with a removable external battery for uninterrupted operation. Both have independent charge indicators displayed on-screen for convenient monitoring.
The external battery is hot-swappable, allowing quick replacement without interrupting use. Both batteries support fast USB-C charging, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability for long hunts and demanding conditions.
Durable, Rugged Housing for Harsh Conditions
Designed for endurance, the Oryx LRF’s magnesium alloy housing provides exceptional strength while remaining lightweight. It withstands impacts, moisture, mud, and extreme temperatures, ensuring reliable operation in any environment. The material also aids heat dissipation for optimal performance during extended observation sessions.
Ambidextrous Design for Left or Right-Handed Use
The Oryx series features a symmetrical, ergonomic design that ensures comfortable handling for both left- and right-handed users. The hand strap and belt clip can be attached to either side of the unit, offering flexibility and a customised fit.
Sensitivity Enhancement Technology
Advanced algorithms and refined electronic components drive a new level of thermal image processing. This proprietary technology improves signal clarity and reduces noise, producing highly detailed thermal imagery in all conditions.
Automatic Screen Brightness Control
A built-in proximity sensor automatically turns off the display when the monocular is moved away from your eyes. This feature preserves battery life and enhances stealth, ensuring the device is ready for action the moment you need it.
Extra-High Detail Thermal Imaging
The Oryx LRF delivers outstanding thermal imaging performance with multiple colour palettes and exceptional detail. Its advanced image processing platform ensures accurate object rendering, capturing even the subtlest variations in temperature. Combined with optimised brightness and contrast settings, the Oryx LRF provides superb clarity and sharpness for an exceptional viewing experience in any environment.
Haptic Feedback
For a more intuitive and tactile experience, the Oryx LRF includes a haptic feedback function accessible via the quick menu. The device gives gentle vibration responses when control buttons are pressed, enhancing ease of operation and user awareness.
Image Stabilisation
The Oryx LRF features electronic image stabilisation technology that enhances image sharpness and reduces visual artefacts caused by hand movement. This system minimises motion blur, ensuring smoother, more comfortable viewing of distant subjects, even during prolonged use.
IP67 Protection Rating
The Oryx LRF is the first Pulsar device to feature an IP67 protection rating, offering exceptional durability in demanding conditions. It can withstand immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for 30 minutes and is fully protected against dust and solid particles larger than 1 mm. This ensures dependable performance in wet, muddy, or dusty environments.
