Compact and Well-Balanced Design
When hunting, every gram of equipment matters. The Krypton 2 is designed to be lightweight, easy to handle, and comfortable to use. Its short length, light build, and balanced weight distribution minimise the impact on the "optics" system when mounted on a scope lens. The controls are conveniently accessible for smooth operation.
Rugged Magnesium Alloy Housing
The durable and lightweight magnesium alloy housing of the Pulsar Krypton 2 XG50 offers superior strength, protecting the device from shocks and vibrations. It withstands various mechanical, temperature, and environmental conditions. Additionally, the magnesium alloy effectively dissipates heat from the thermal imager's electronic components, enhancing its operational stability.
Outstanding Energy Efficiency - Up to 11 Hours of Operation
The quick-change, rechargeable Li-Ion battery pack IPS7 powers the device for up to 11 hours of continuous use. This means the Krypton 2 can operate all night on a single charge without needing a battery replacement. The quick-release, wireless design of the battery system is a key highlight.
Quick Transformation from Clip-On to 3x Thermal Monocular
Transforming the Krypton 2 into a 3x thermal monocular is quick and easy with the Pulsar 3x20B compact monocular. The bayonet connection allows seamless conversion between an attachment and a thermal monocular in the field.
High-Definition Thermal Imaging
Equipped with a European-made 12 µm / 640x480 pixel thermal imaging sensor, the Krypton 2 delivers a sharp and high-contrast thermal image. This clarity aids in identifying animals, their limbs, and even small details like branches, leaves, grass, and terrain.
Extra-Long 2300 m Detection Range
The combination of a powerful objective lens and a professional-grade 12 µm thermal imaging sensor offers exceptional detection capabilities. It can identify a standard 1.8-metre tall object from a distance of 2300 meters, even in total darkness.
These are always extremes, but the Krypton2 FXG is rated at a 2300m detection distance. This is detecting a 1.8m high, 80 kg object - remember that is detecting it as a warm object, not identifying it! The recommend magnification range is 1.5 to 6 times and we would definitely suggest keeping to this range.
